My name is TWIYA (The World Is Yours, Always). I am a Black, femme-identifying singer, producer, visual artist, writer and creative director. I was born in Seattle, WA. I grew up in East Baltimore, MD. I currently reside in the historic Hillman City neighborhood in Seattle. My mission is to merge social work with community arts, to connect with community and envision a future where we are greater together.

I believe in the power of the internet to connect us with our true tribe. I created this space as a place to house my art, and be a beacon for those who are willing to journey with me. I hope that interacting with this page will boost your spirits, pique your curiosities, and inspire you to be unapologetically you in a world where we are sold the illusion that we are inadequate. ​
